After disbanding in 2023, the Long Bennington History Society have left their data projector, laptop and screen as a community resource for the use of societies and groups requiring a data projector. All the equipment is some years old and has some restrictions on usage.
Specifications:
Data Projector:
640x480 VGA resolution, 4:3 picture ratio, VGA and DVI inputs. Adaptor for HDMI to DVI to run from PCs and laptops with HDMI output. VGA cable 1.5m. Audio available through DVI or RCA audio connectors (NB Audio is not loud, not suitable for a large conference room).
Laptop:
Low specification windows XP laptop with VGA video output to projector. However, the laptop has an old version of Open Office installed which will allow viewing of both PowerPoint and Keynote presentations. Definitely better to provide own computer to drive the projector.
Screen:
Standard 4:3 format about 1.2metres wide on self supporting tripod. Not in especially good condition (small tear along the top edge)
Local groups wishing to borrow any of this kit should leave plenty of notice e.g. 2-4 weeks and it is strongly recommended to test the usage before the event it will be employed at
