Parish News June 2026

The Parish Council had its last meeting on 1st June at St James’s Hall.

We have been successful in obtaining a grant from Lincolnshire County Council to refurbish the Church Street Bus Shelter.  The work is scheduled to take place in early July.

Following a recent defibrillator training session within the village, it has become clear that not everyone knows about the four defibrillators that the Parish Council provide in the village.  Access codes for the defibrillators will be provided by 999 operators in the event of an emergency, but for reference we have them located at:-

  • Village Hall
  • Community Police Office next to the school
  • Sports Pavilion
  • Woods Close

Potholes and issues with the highways are a significant concern for residents.  If you identify an issue, please record directly on FixMyStreet.  This is the best way to alert LCC and SKDC of any highways/ pavement type issues.  Whilst getting the issue resolved may take a little time, you will be kept updated on progress, including the initial inspection.
