Parish News November 2022
The Parish Council had its last meeting on 7th November at St James’s Hall.
FINANCE – Parish Councillors approved payment of invoices totalling £4136.33 Payments included £942 for replacement batteries for three of the Parish Council owned defibrillators
PLANNING – Councillors confirmed that the appeal against the refusal decision for a development of 6 dwellings to the rear of The Royal Oak has been dismissed, and the refusal decision upheld. VILLAGE MAINTENANCE - As reported last month, the Parish Council agreed to explore the cost of installing gateways, initially at both ends of Main Road. Site surveys have been done and proposals being drafted for consideration by the PC at the next meeting.
DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS- Councillors confirmed progress is being made with Lincolnshire CC on drainage improvements to the village. LCC has signed off the project proposal and is now awaiting sign-off by the Environment Agency.

PLAYING FIELD FACILITY - In consultation with Playing Field Management Committee, the Parish Council is looking to apply to SKDC for Section 106 monies, from the Park View development, to provide car parking at the Pavilion, including disabled bays. Information is to be gathered to support the request.
