Matters Arising 18/907. The availability of grants towards Neighbourhood Plan review are still to be investigated. ACTION CLERK

|
Councillors were advised a new political group, Alliance SK, has been formed by a Labour member and three Independants. PW advised he is sitting on the Planning Committee again. |

Applications – S22/1288 Broxholme. Application for a single storey side extension to existing swimming pool building at 6 Church Lane, Long Bennington. RESOLVED no objection. S22/1334 Hall Application for the erection of dwelling (revised design for plot 6 dwelling following approval ref:S17/1676) at Alma Farm , 18 Main Road, Long Bennington. RESOLVED no objection. S22/1339 Hall. Application for the erection of dwelling (revised design for plot 1 dwelling following approval ref: S17/1676) at Alma Farm , 18 Main Road, Long Bennington. RESOLVED no objection. S22/1318 Hall. Application for the erection of boundary wall to roadside and estate type railings at Alma Farm , 18 Main Road, Long Bennington, Lincolnshire. RESOLVED no objection. Planning Approvals – see agenda Planning Refusals – S22/0630 Arnold. Councillors noted the refusal of the application that was objected to by the Parish Council. Planning Appeals/Withdrawals – Appeal re Traveller Site Valley Lane – no date confirmed yet Appeal re Development of Land at Rear of Royal Oak – no date confirmed yet Other planning issues – It was noted the objections to the traveller site on Marshall Way have been submitted to SKDC today. |
Road Safety Meeting – to discuss feedback and agree attendees for meeting with LCC |

Councillors were referred to the minutes of the meeting completed and circulated by JL. It was agreed the main areas have been highlighted, summarised and these can be used for the meeting with LCC. It was agreed MMW, JL, MB, DW, PW and GF will attend the meeting. |

Chairman’s Report No report Clerks Report Councillors were referred to the attached report. Item 9 – Elm Close. It was agreed to ask for legal support from SKDC lawyers and consider obtaining village green status. ACTION CLERK |

Finance |

Councillors were referred to the attached schedule of invoices for payment totalling £5874.85 (that includes £2106.04 approved at the July meeting) RESOLVED – to pay the invoices. Monthly financial reports were provided, and no questions were raised. Community Cleaner hours worked and payment – approved. |

Playing Fields Management Committee – it was confirmed there has been some minor vandalism, a light above the defibrillator has been installed and the is to be a minor adjustment to the ramp to one of the new benches. Village Hall Management Committee – further discussion around the committee status has taken place. It was agreed that a meeting with MMW, JL and a couple of the involved committee members from the VHMC is to be arranged in order that the PC has clarity on the situation and proposed action. ACTION CLERK/JL/MMW Cllrs were advised, for information only, that a resident has reported some vandalism to the rear boundary fence. The VHMC are aware. School Liaison – no report Emergency Planning Group Report – no report Road Safety – MB referred to his suggestion of double yellow lines in certain areas, to improve road safety. Cllrs were advised of an incident of a vehicle driving over the pedestrian crossing with pedestrians (including a child) on it. The Police have been informed of the vehicle registration number and have contacted the driver (who was local!). Police Report – it was reported that a vehicle was stolen and found burnt out on Moor Lane. Footpaths & Streetlights – no report Witham Meadow Project Report – the camera is to be installed properly at the weekend. |
